The Seattle contingent rendezvoused at Seward Park on a gorgeous sunny fall morning—they cycled 65miles, 25miles or walked the 2.4 route. Including our virtual participants, we had just over 100 people ‘moving’ with us!
We concluded the day with a picnic lunch of tasty Vietnamese sandwiches, Thai sesame cabbage salad, wasabi potato chips, Thai ice tea and more!
Seven organizations hosted informational tables at our Global Citizen Service Fair, offering great ways for all ages to ‘think globally and start moving locally!’

Tucson, AZ –10 K run by Rachael Novak always a feat in hot Tucson!
Manhattan Beach, CA—the largest Krista Colleague contingent, Danica Hendrickson, Becky Imig, Rachel Grassley and several of their friends did a tour d’boardwalk from Manhattan Beach Pier to Hermosa Beach Pier and back! A couple of them even took a Pacific ocean dip afterward! Ahhh those 80 degree fall days!
Trinidad, Bolivia –Mary Lynn Powers and 13 gals from La Palmera school, where she is principal, hiked 10k and went the extra mile by picking up trash along their route!
The Cinque Terre, northern Italy—Friend of the Foundation, Erin Hitchcock often joins us in Seattle but this year (rough life) she found herself in northern Italy.
And China! Board member Don Spencer is taking in the sights in China as a virtual participant!
