Sarah's Service Bio

Focusing on youth, I volunteered to provide food, encouragement, and love to young people in rural England and inner-city Seattle. Experiencing the peace and health that working outside in the soil brings, I combined my love for disadvantaged youth and farming in my third year of service work. As an intern on an organic farm, I invited students with developmental disabilities to come and experience the life, health, and peace that can grow in a garden, in pastures, and in compost piles.
