I worked as a community organizer in inner-city Newark, NJ. Focusing on our target neighborhood of West Side Park, I reached out to residents, business owners, nonprofits, churches, elected officials, police, and other stakeholders to come together to identify and address the issues most significant to the neighborhood, including quality of life, employment opportunity, crime & public safety, education, and general neighborhood revitalization.
