Jennifer's Service Bio
I worked in several roles throughout my volunteer assignment. 1. I taught at Bible School for Zambian pastors 2. I worked with a local church doing a variety of things...helped with a children's program for vulnerable children and orphans, helped to start a school for orphans/vulnerable children, and worked with the women's group within the church. (All in Zambia) 3. In South Africa, I worked with children who had HIV/AIDS and were abandoned (orphaned). We took in these kids and were establishing a home for them to provide the best possible childhood for however long their childhood was (cared for their emotional, physical and spiritual needs). We also hosted the summer teams and coordinated their projects and schedule.
