The Hearth Guest Center

Front entrance to the HearthIn 2001, Jim and Linda Hunt replaced the barn at their Spokane home and built the Hearth, a guest center that has many purposes, including a special place for Krista Colleagues and the foundation community. A circle stain-glass window with the Krista Foundation logo illuminates the great room within the Montana stone fireplace wall.

Following the global citizenship theme, the upstairs includes an African room, Asian meditation area, Latin American writer's room, and a Northwest Room, plus a global library room that includes photographs and stories of Krista Colleagues. The Hearth and gardens provide a place for our Board meetings, debriefing retreats, and any special gatherings of Colleagues. Various church and student groups have utilized this space to refresh their spirits. Contact us for more info.
